School Family Education

Connecting People, Enriching Families - that is the goal of the School Family Education programme launched last year in Keming Primary.

The program aims at offering a reminder that our children will only strive if their families thrive and if the whole of society cares enough to provide for them. Here are some of the ways the school has reached out to our families in Keming.

'FUN WITH BATS' WORKSHOP
15th March 2008

The ‘Fun with Bats’ workshop was held on 15 March 2008 at NUS Kent Ridge Park Summit. It was conducted in a fun and engaging manner outdoors and it promoted bonding between parent and child.

SYNERGISTIC PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PARENT SUPPORT GROUP

Our Parent Support Group was involved in several school events, one of it being the LOVE@Keming Day (Living Our Values Explicitly) which was held on 28th June 2008.  Parent Volunteers conducted a talk on 'A Journey Through Time & Space' and a workshop entitled 'Construction Zone'. They were also involved in manning the various booths/stalls.
